El Rancho is located in the central valley of Costa Rica, only 15 minutes from the airport. This central location makes El Rancho the ideal place from which to explore Costa Rica's incredible natural beauty such as the beautiful beaches, rain forests, volcanoes and abundant ecosystems. You will also have easy access to many other amenities such as a wide variety of restaurants, museums, cinemas, theaters, shops, and the diverse night life in Alajuela, Heredia, and San José --- just great to enjoy and keep you entertained while you're in our country.

RATES

The rates for the apartments will vary depending on the season and number of people staying in the house. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates with or without breakfast. Please contact us for any additional information.

• Kids up to three years old stay free of charge.

Rates include a generous breakfast (served from 7:00am to 9:00am) consisting of a plate of three different types of tropical fruits, cereal or bread , butter, jam, orange juice, milk and coffee or tea.

DESCRIPTIONS & FACILITIES

At El Rancho, all the rooms are spacious and recently renovated with a private bathroom, single bed, orthopedic mattress, large cable TV, and view of the garden and swimming pool.

We offer single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms.

If you prefer a more private and comfortable place to stay, we offer two elegantly furnished and fully equipped apartments accommodating up to four people.

All rooms and apartments are equipped with ceilings fans. We do not offer rooms with air conditioning, as the temperature in Alajuela is mild year round.

We also provide accommodations for all sizes of special interest groups, such as entomologist college groups, and other school groups
